Tombs of Forefathers, Neolithic Long Barrows in Ritual Landscapes Casemate Publishers

This analysis of Neolithic long barrows in Bohemia and Central Europe presents new data, based primarily on remote sensing and targeted excavations, to define the construction and chronological development of these monuments, advance knowledge of their spread and reconstruct their social and religious significance for early farming communities.
